Everyone wants a good price, but at what cost?

When you are considering purchasing a Metal Building, we know it is a big decision. We also know there are a lot of reasons NOT to buy a building without doing your homework. Recently a Colorado based steel building seller was sued by the Attorney Generals office. Why? Deceptive trade Practices. The company was fined and ordered to refund the customers they ripped off. Another Florida based company was taken to court in a class action suit and a Judge ruled that the company refund hundreds of customers unscrupulously bilked out of their hard earned money.

We want you to do your homework. A little research will go a long way. Find out if the company is real or not by checking them out with the Better Business Bureau. Also check to see if they are really affiliated with the logos that are plastered all over their website. If they have an AISC logo on their site – go to www.aisc.org and find out if they are really a member. If a company misleads you from the start – do you really want to buy from them?

Don't listen to the salesmen who push you to make a quick decision and want a credit card number or you to FAX them a check. RUN from these people. Everyone in business needs to sell a product or service, but it should be done in a professional manner. When you design your own steel building, we use the information you submit online to detail your steel building, just as you designed it. You can design endless steel building combinations without anyone trying to sell you a thing or make a commission. Take all the time you need, making changes to your building configurations are a snap. And of course, we are here to help you, when and if you need it. You can speak to a customer service representative, designer, engineer or project administrator at your convenience. Sheeting

All sheeting is 26-gauge "R" panel. Color sheeting has a galvanized substrate to prevent rust and corrosion. All our Galvalume roof sheeting is hot dipped with a zinc and Aluminum compound to give it the strength to stand up to the worst weather, and the durability to last for generations.

Framed Opening Cover Trim

Full cover trim. Provides head and jamb cover trim and sill trim if applicable, so that no red iron is visible at the opening.

Secondary Framing

Secondary framing is created from rolled steel coated with a red-oxide primer finish in gages from 12 to 16 to provide an extremely rigid, and corrosion resistant structure. The following elements are formed as secondary framing:

Girts (walls) & Purlins (roof): These members run the length of the building providing rigidity, and a sturdy skeleton to attach the sheeting. They are rolled from steel coils 12,14 or 16-gauge steel, or thicker if needed. All girts and purlins are pre-punched for ease of assembly.

Eave Struts: This is a rolled member formed into a "C" to match the pitch of the roof. The eave strut is also made of 12, 14, or 16-gauge steel.

Panel Options

Color or Galvalume - Our online system includes both Galvalume Plus® and SMP Colors. For a small price increase you can add a colored roof. Our standard colored panels consist of a Galvalume® sheet that has been primed and coated with Silicon Modified Polyester (SMP) paint. Both panel types of panel are very tough, and both our Galvalume Plus® warranty and our paint warranty run for 25 and 30 years respectively. The Galvalume Plus® panels cost less, but the painted panels give your steel building a more refined look.

Color and Roof Pitch - When considering color over Galvalume, be sure to take the roof pitch into account. Higher-pitched roofs are more noticeable, but with a low-pitched roof very little of the roof can be seen.
